The Cañón de Almadenes Protected Natural Area, the Sima de la Serreta Cave, or the Barranco de los Grajos Ravine (the latter two declared World Heritage Sites by Unesco) are an essential visit if you are in the area.
Also the Islamic site of Medina Siyasa and its museum. It was one of the most important enclaves of Western Islam and, due to its good state of conservation, it is a must-see.
Visiting the Serreta cave, discovering Medina Siyasa, one of the best preserved archaeological sites from the Al-Andalus period, a walk along the riverside promenade or being moved by the Easter Week processions ....
